Exhibition catalogue: Fausto Balbo
Visual identity for a contemporary art exhibition
For Fausto Balbo’s solo exhibition, organized by the Associazione
Culturale Origami, I curated the
exhibition display and the catalogue design.
Working in close collaboration with the artist, we chose a 14x24
cm format with omega stitch binding: a reference to the concept of
obsolete technology, a central theme in Balbo’s poetics. The
embossed drawings on the cover represent electrical diagrams,
revealing the hidden component of the artworks without which they
would not come to life.
