In 2021, the Direzione Generale per la Creatività Contemporanea of Italian Minister of Culture enacted a public notice relating to a logo contest for the project "Luoghi del Contemporaneo", a new platform with the purpose of mapping and promoting the network of places of contemporary art in Italy.
In my design, I focused on an extreme synthesis of the shapes with a modernist style.
The logo design for "Luoghi del Contemporaneo" incorporates three rectangular shapes that symbolize the anagram LDC and represent the concept of open doors, reflecting the idea of accessible and welcoming spaces. The monochromatic color scheme provides flexibility for customization, allowing for maximum adaptability.
By eliminating unnecessary details and information, the logo maintains a timeless quality that will remain relevant for years to come. Its design ensures recognition across various media and sizes, from small to large, guaranteeing its visibility and impact.
